Annual Masked Ball Fundraiser
Well we are off and running again and we are in the prosses of
auditions and even more fundraising events.
We will be having the Masked Ball again this year but it is to be
held in a diffrent location this year due to events out of our
This years Ball will be held in the Smith Cotton High School
Cafeteria on Febuary 12th at 7pm this is a Semi Formal / Costume Ball. The Price is also more affordable. The Hamlet is putting on the ball with the Smith Cotton High School Drama Department. Procedes will go to help both groups.
Ticket Prices are in advance $15.00 each at door $20.00
Ticket Price includes : Buffet Dinner and entertainment and dancing.
Abbie Photo will also be in attendance to take your picture she will have several photo packages to choose from starting out at $5.00 to $25.00 with each photo package purchased you will receive for your sweet heart a rose.

Fundraiser at Montserrat Winery/Vineyard
The Hamlet's next fundraiser is set for Oct. 30 at 6:30pm at the Montserrat Winery. Tickets need to be purchased in advance as this event is limited to 150 people. Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased by calling me at 660-620-2586.
This event will be showcasing the Winery's new Mead, we will be providing entertainment and a food buffet this is a costume or casual event to celebrate the Celtic New year and introduce the winery's new mead an raise money for the Hamlet of Mid Missouri Renaissance Festival in 2005.
Come in joy the Out door air and the roar of a good bonfire.
Happy Valentines Day Formal Costume Ball
The ball is set and the food list is made.We will be auctioning off a pair of 8mm pear and gold earrings and a sofa size print of an English cottage. Ticket price is $25.00 each and the castle will have 7 rooms to rent you can check them out on there web site.
Professional entertainment will be provided after the site down dinner entertainment consists of Royal Gauntlet Birds, Jon Renaue, C. Wayne Owens, Warrensburg Recorder Group possible other to be named later. Tickets can be purchased at the Kate Depot or at the Windmoor Inn or by calling Melissa at 660-620-2586.
Marc Gunn of the Brobdingnagian Bards Performs a Benefit Concert for the Hamlet
Saturday, December 27th at 7:30pm there will be a house concert in Kansas City to benefit the Hamlet of Mid-Missouri Renaissance Festival. This is an exclusive event featuring Marc Gunn of the Brobdingnagian Bards. Advanced tickets are just $15. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The evening will be followed by a bardic circle where you can share your own songs, poetry, whatever.
Seating is limited to just thirty people. Tickets will go fast. So order soon. If you'd like to be a part of this special event, contact Christine or call (913) 908-5345 to reserve your seat.
Interested in having a commemorative T-shirt for the occasion?
We're gonna print a limited number of t-shirts to benefit the Hamlet of Mid-Missouri Renaissance Festival as well. White, full-color, 100% cotton, Hanes Beefy-Ts. Shirts can only be ordered in advance and cost $20 and will be mailed after the at the beginning of the new year.

Best Float at the Sedalia Christmas Parade
Saturday the Hamlet of Mid Missouri was in two Christmas Parades on was in Sedalia at 10am I found out Monday Morning From My Mother that we had won our division. The theme was A Story Book Christmas well let me tell you it wasn't easy to come up with a Christmas story that went with the renaissance world that related to there theme but Ele and I Melissa Did it. Our Float was based on the story of The Snow Queen By: Hans Christian Anderson
We received a check for $150.00
We also know we won something at the Hughesville, MO Christmas Parade which we attended at 2pm that same day. I will let you know what we received as soon as I find out.
That evening we had a soup and comedy night at the Smith Cotton High School which C. Wayne Owens and Mother Pockets donated there time and Soup. I think she is still soup Queen as her soup went better than mine did. But hey, who better to loose to.
Comedy Benefit featuring Seymour
See Seymour on Dec. 6th at Smithcotton Cafeteria, Sedalia at 5pm for an exclusive Comedy night with raffles of items.
Join our Christmas Parades, Nov 28th at 6pm in Higginsville, MO; on Dec. 5th at 6:30pm in Marshall, MO; and Dec. 6th we will be doing the Sedalia Christmas Parade at 9:30 am and Hugesville, MO. Christmas Parade at 2pm and the soup supper at 4:30pm
Oh, and let's not forget the Valentine's Day Ball set for February 14th at 6:30pm at the Windmoor Inn. Rooms are for rent for that weekend. Call Rae Leassey at the b&b to book the rooms. It will be costume or formal attire. Tickets are set at $25 per person. Limit of 100 people, so order soon!
HOMM at Kansas City Renaissance Festival
Hamlet of Mid-Missouri will be at KCRF scottish weekend this year and on opening weekend most of the cast will be playing pirateers also at kcrf so come out and play with your favorite cast member or directors.
Valentine's Day Masked Ball
We will be haveing the Masked Ball again this year on Valentines Day evening at the Windmoor Inn Castle. Tickets are limited to 100 people ticket price is still $25.00
